    When both actions are combined, The path of the pad for orbital action never changes and is fixed,we call it "Dual Action". The polisher will walk on a path automatically at the same time it rotating. Random Orbital:The rotation and oscillation are random, not a fixed path.the pad rotate on same center circle.you have to pull or push the polisher to the area it should working.
